Danielle Wu received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History with minors in art and Chinese culture from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was also a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. She is currently the Gallery Associate at Galerie Lelong, New York and is a regular contributor to Hyperallergic and Filthy Dreams. She is interested in artists that examine the "inbetween-ness" and intersection of identities, particularly yellow and femme, and the othering that accompanies it; how Asian Americans practice intersectional feminism; and queering visible narratives for Asian Americans. She is indebted to the wise voices of bell hooks, Kimberlé W. Crenshaw, and Yellow Jackets Collective.
