Pho

Feb 13, 2013

Phở is a very vague dish; I think my vegetarian noodle soup counts as phở because it was made with simple broth, rice noodles, vegetables and herbs.

On the side was 红薯干, dried sweet potato, one of my parents' favorites. Just slice a sweet potato into thick strips and bake for 40 minutes at 400° for a simple, naturally sweet treat.

I love quiet afternoons, watching the steam rise from freshly cooked food in peaceful contemplation. Have a very happy Wednesday!
