I was so pleased by how the colors complemented each other; it made me fear that I was buying them purely for display rather than use. Just as some people love the feeling of opening new electronics, the feeling that no human hand has touched the surface and left fingerprints before you, I like the crisp whiteness of new paper and pencils.

i love the pencil tin -- it's so neat, and everything has its own spot.

hope you can check it out :)
Thank you, Czariana. x
DeleteThese are pretty. I buy notebooks, most of the purely based on the designs and colours too. I have too many of them - a lot brand new which I haven't touch. I should stop buying more.
ReplyDeleteJo, we have the same problem! Although, it is rather harmless, wouldn't you say? ha ha x
DeleteI understand this feeling. I love it too!
ReplyDeleteThese are pretty :) Mine is black with just one sentence (in French). It's from Benjamin Vautier, he's well known for his quotes hand written in white on black.
Morgane, I just looked up Monsieur Vautier; that sounds like a very elegant notebook that you have. x
DeleteGorgeous elegant stationary! The
ReplyDeletepencil case is just to lovely
to even use it! c:

Why thank you very much! x
DeleteOMG I love some good stationary girl! I'm actually one my way out to look at some stationary and scrapbook materials now. I love this and I can see buying it all for the look but I imagine the first pencil to paper moment was glorious!
ReplyDeleteAs for your question on the Athenaeum I am going to take a few inside photos maybe on St. Patricks day or over the summer.
