Small things: New Stationery

Jan 24, 2013

Shopping at the Paperie at Artmart, a locally owned store in St. Louis; they have amazing discounts for students.

///////// large squared gray moleskine cahier
//////////////////////////////////////////////// 12-piece drawing set
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// travel scrapbook paper
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Rifle paper co. botanical journal

I was so pleased by how the colors complemented each other; it made me fear that I was buying them purely for display rather than use. Just as some people love the feeling of opening new electronics, the feeling that no human hand has touched the surface and left fingerprints before you, I like the crisp whiteness of new paper and pencils.

  3. These are pretty. I buy notebooks, most of the purely based on the designs and colours too. I have too many of them - a lot brand new which I haven't touch. I should stop buying more.

  4. I understand this feeling. I love it too!
    These are pretty :) Mine is black with just one sentence (in French). It's from Benjamin Vautier, he's well known for his quotes hand written in white on black.

  6. OMG I love some good stationary girl! I'm actually one my way out to look at some stationary and scrapbook materials now. I love this and I can see buying it all for the look but I imagine the first pencil to paper moment was glorious!

    As for your question on the Athenaeum I am going to take a few inside photos maybe on St. Patricks day or over the summer.
