Small joys; designs for Samulnori are in! See the original design post here. Lessons learned: (1) allot at least 30 days for production, (2) researching different companies by asking for estimates saves hundreds of dollars, (3) ask for proofs at multiple stages of design.

It's certainly thrilling seeing your creations come alive, and even more to have them endorsed. The Samulnori troupe will be performing at Washington University to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year February 8 and 9th this year. How are you getting ready for the impending Lunar New Year?

Looking cool! :D
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I'm not doing anything! :o
Oh no - that could be good as well, but you should celebrate the Lunar New Year somehow! x
DeleteWe don't really have the Lunar New Year here, in the Netherlands we celebrate New Year on the last day of December, the Lunar celebration isn't practised here. (Well.. Maybe sometimes in bigger cities with an event (I think Rotterdam has one to accompany the "China Light" festival) or the China Towns here, other than that, it's a normal day for the most of us!
DeleteI see! Well, I hope you find some way to celebrate the tradition. I find any excuse to celebrate a holiday, myself. x
